I know I can, I know I can

As summer begins, one would think that vacation would soon follow, however that is now the case for me. I just started my summer classes at OSU, and let me tell you it is the last place that I want to be. I had to tell myself that each class I take is one class closer to graduation. With that I am reminded of a mission trip I took in high school. During this mission trip my youth group met up with other youth groups from across the United States and together we form work groups to go and work on houses in the area. The leader of my group would try to keep us motivated on the hot days by telling us "I think I can, I think I can". Now 6 years later, this philosophy has stayed with me. Now I am telling myself, "I know I can, I know I can", just like a train moving along till it gets to its final destination. If you think about it, that it what our lives consist of, each day we move along, each day we are hoping that we are one step closer to our final destination. My uncle told me once (when I was complaining on some illness I had claiming that I was dying) that each day we are dying, but each day we are also living. So we can either wake up each morning thinking today is one more day I have to live and make the most of it, or we can wake up thinking today I am one day closer to death. Choosing to live is half the battle of life.
