Life After College...

Can you believe it? I survived college, and now I am in the "real world". How scary is that? At one time when I thought the scariest thing was a final, boy was I wrong. I am currently working at a local PR firm, as an assistant account executive. Talk about a tongue twister! What the heck is an assistant account executive? Basically I assist the other account reps with our clients, and one day hopefully I will get some of my own clients. You know part of me thought that once I graduated life would be so much easier, boy was I wrong! I enjoy working, but I miss the interaction with my classmates, spring break, summer break, winter break and snow days. I miss having that set schedule knowing what your day would be like, being able to zone out during class, skip class when I was tired or sick or just didn't want to go. But I don't miss finals or those pop quizzes. You spend 22 or in my case 24 years of your life learning, in school in classes, and then once your done you are suppose to know what you want to do for the rest of your life? How crazy is that? Everything in life you must take in stride, there is always something new to learn. Now that I am out, I want to go back to figure out what else I am missing.

All in all I like my job, my family, my friends and my roommate. Life could be better but it could be much worse. I am just grateful for the time I have right now, because I will not get it back.

My advise, make the most of each moment, live for today, you never know when it's your last.
