Fear

Fear can consume anyone, but if we can get rid of our fear, and trust God we can accomplish anything. A woman at work had me read this passage, I thought that it was perfect!

Psalm 27
Of David.
1 The LORD is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid?
2 When evil men advance against me to devour my flesh, when my enemies and my foes attack me, they will stumble and fall.
3 Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then will I be confident.
4 One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.
5 For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his tabernacle and set me high upon a rock.
6 Then my head will be exalted above the enemies who surround me; at his tabernacle will I sacrifice with shouts of joy; I will sing and make music to the LORD.
7 Hear my voice when I call, O LORD; be merciful to me and answer me.
8 My heart says of you, "Seek his face!" Your face, LORD, I will seek.
9 Do not hide your face from me, do not turn your servant away in anger; you have been my helper. Do not reject me or forsake me, O God my Savior.
10 Though my father and mother forsake me, the LORD will receive me.
11 Teach me your way, O LORD; lead me in a straight path because of my oppressors.
12 Do not turn me over to the desire of my foes, for false witnesses rise up against me, breathing out violence.
13 I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
14 Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.

Summer is almost here! YAH!

As the spring quarter slowly comes to an end, I realized that summer is almost here! I am so excited. I do not have any huge plans, but I am now one quarter away from graduation! I am excited but terrified! What am I going when I graduate? The more important question is what do I want to do when I graduate? What is my dream job? Honestly, I have no clue. The interview process scares me, I have to convince people that I want to work for them. What do you do when you do not know what you want to do? College is suppose to prepared us for the wonderful future of working for the rest of our lives. No wonder I am going crazy! So far in my college career I have only had one class that actually prepared me for my future. One class out of how many??

Spring??

Finally it is starting to look like spring, but how long will it last? The one thing I love about Ohio is the weather! Most people hate it, because you never know what it will be from day today. For example take this past March, one day it is 70 degrees outside, the next day it is 30 degrees and snowing! It has actually snowed in May before! How crazy is that? The reason I love this weather is because the world has become so predictable, at least the weather keeps some of the mystery alive. Don't get me wrong I love this warm weather that Ohio has been having this past week, it is so wonderful! I look forward to my evening walks with Daisy! Each time we walk their is a new adventure with Daisy, she is always so happy! Walking gives me such a natural high! I feel blessed each time because I am healthily, I have a great family, and wonderful friends. Spring is a time of new beginnings, for some reason with the season changing from Winter (cold) to Spring (warm)!

Sound of Music/Easter

One of my favorite movies/musicals of all time is The Sound of Music. It is such a fun movie, filled with beautiful music and great actors. It makes you wish you were in Austria with them! There is also a lot of history behind the musical, it is actually based on a true story. I think that it is really fascinating.

Easter is one of my favorite holidays. It is not a Hallmark holiday, but a holiday with meaning, a holiday fill with hope and love. It shows us how much God sacrifice for us because He loved us. He loves us despite our faults. His love is simply amazing. This whole week, holy week, has such meaning a purpose.
